The purpose of this policy is to ensure quality membership within the area of operation of GCCC

TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP

GCCC shall have two (2) membership categories defined as follows:

•  Regular membership
  • An applicant for regular membership shall subscribe and paid at least twenty (20) Common shares for a total amount of  Ten Pesos (P10,000.00).
  • An individual who has paid the required Membership Fee and has fulfilled the minimum requirement for share capital, savings deposit and other pertinent documents.
  • Has the right to take part in the general decision-making
  • Has the right to right to vote  and be voted  upon as  Board of Directors or committee member.
  • Entitled to avail of loan services and savings facilities of GCCC.
  • Participate in the continuing education and training program of the GCCC.
• Associate Membership
  • An applicant for associate membership shall subscribe at least 1 Preferred Share/s for a total amount of Five Hunded pesos (P500.00) and pay in full upon approval of his membership.
  • Has paid the required membership fee
  • Has the right to maintain a deposit account and withdraw therefrom.
  • Possible future regular member.
  • Has no right to take part in the decision-making, but can provide suggestion for the improvement of the cooperative.
  • Has no right to vote nor be voted upon as Officer of the Cooperative.
  • Entitled to receive information of GCCC product updates and newsletters.
  • Entitled to avail of loan services.
